Happiness level unchanged after 3 years of NCPO: Poll | Bangkok Post: news

Most of the people surveyed by National Institute of Development Administration, or Nida Poll, say their state of happiness has remained the same or unchanged after three years of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO)'s takeover of the country's administration, mainly because of its failure to effectively tackle economic problems. The poll was conducted on May 11-12 on 1,250 people aged 18 and over of various levels of education and occupations throughout the country to compiled their opinions on the state of happiness after three years of the NCPO in power. Since after taking the country's administration in the May 22, 2014 coup, the NCPO has vowed to "return happiness to the people." Most of the people polled, 42%, said they have seen no change regarding happiness as the economic problems have remained unresolved and the cost of living high. The rest were uncertain or had no comments.
